How accurate is BulkWeigh?
Answer

BulkWeigh is accurate to within ±1% of payload throughout the vehicle's weight range.

Is there a phone app in case the driver has to exit the cab during loading?
Answer

Yes.  There is a wi-fi app available to allow drivers/operators to remotely monitor the loading of the vehicle.  There is also a handheld radio unit (the 511 FreeWeigh) for customers who cannot use mobile phones.

How is the system calibrated?
Answer

The system is calibrated by means of a simple phone call to a member of our service team who will walk you through the simple process.

Can the system be connected to other on-board vehicle systems such as telematics?
Answer

Yes, it has an RS232 serial port for connecting to other systems such as vehicle telematics.

Does the system have a printer?
Answer

Yes, there is an option to include a printer if you wish.

Can I fit the system myself?
Answer

BulkWeigh is fitted between the vehicle's chassis and its body, so we recommend you approach a vehicle body builder for this as it may require additional fabrication work.  If you contact us we can recommend one to you.

Is the system approved for charging by weight?
Answer

No.  You need our LFT system if you intend to charge customers by weight.

Can the system record multiple collections or deliveries?
Answer

Yes, our Load/Deliver function allows you to record multiple deliveries and collections as well as running totals using the optional printer.
